Following the recent U12 Skills Days, a total of 240 young male and female athletes have been selected to represent Country Victoria at the BVC Jamboree held in Echuca. Congratulations to the Chrys The Jamboree represents the first step in the BVC pathway and it is an event that provides a sensational basketball experience for athletes, officials, coaches and team staff.

JUNIOR basketball in Mildura is going strong with the Mildura Basketball Association’s next crop of Victoria Country representatives gearing up for their respective challenges early next year. Mildura Hawks player Wil McGinty (far right)will represent Victorian Country at the Australian Country Junior Basketball Cup in the Under 14 Boys. The players heading to Albury were selected on the back of a two-day camp held in Bendigo earlier this year to gain selection to teams. Vic Country Under 14 Boys won 7 out 8 games finishing 3rd overall at the country cup

Two Mildura Hawks under 12 basketballers are off to Echuca this weekend after securing spots in the 2015 Basketball Victoria Country Jamboree. Congratulations to Zac Tankard & Macey Eaton for being selected after attending the under 12 skills day held in Mildura.

Hawks Basketball Club will be represented at the 2014 country Victorian basketball Jamboree, with 4 junior players selected to attend the event in Echuca from September 20 to 23. Wil McGinty, Patrick Tarr, Unique Kirkpatrick and Joseph Barclay were selected after attending an under-12 skills days held in Mildura at the end of July.
