Player Information

Welcome to the Elizabeth Vale Soccer Club 2021 Junior Season. Please find important information regarding Junior Soccer below.

Registrations

Registration is $180 per child. Kids attending a registered school may be entitled to a $100 sports voucher which will be taken off their fees. Please speak to the committee about this.

Junior registration will be held each Wednesday from 5:30pm - 7:30pm at the club.

Pitches

U/6 - U/8 play on the mini pitch,

U/9 - Colts play on the full size pitch. 

Number of Players

The number of players in each team:

U/6 - U/8 have 8 field players and 4 interchange players,

U/9 - Colts have 11 field players and 4 interchange players.

Competition for points

U/6 - U/9 play non-competitive soccer, no points or league tables,

U/10 - Colts play for points and have league tables including goal difference.

Knock-out competition

U/6 - U/8 no knock-out competition,

U/9 - Colts play in the Challenge Cup, one cup for each age group.

Duration of games

U/6 - U/10 play 20 minute each half,

U/11 - U/12 play 25 minute each half,

U/13 play 30 minute each half,

U/14 play 35 minute each half,

U/15 - Colts play 40 minute each half.

U/8              10:00am Saturday

U/9              9:00am Saturday

U/10             10:00am Saturday

U/11             11:00am Saturday

U/12             12:15pm Saturday

U/13             1:30pm Saturday

Colts             10:30am Sunday.

Where to stand whilst spectating?

All spectators must stand behind a clearly marked spectator line along the length of the pitch. No spectators are permitted to stand behind the goal line.

Spectators and Referees

No person is allowed to approach the referee before, during or after the match.

Any comments on refereeing decisions may be considered dissent by referees, club officials or EDJSA Executive punishable by fines or bans.

Any complaints about referees, teams, coaches or club officials must be put in writing and forwarded to your club.

Players Equipment

All players must wear shorts, foot wear and shin-pads fully covered by socks. Goalkeepers are allowed to wear long track suit pants or goalkeeping trousers.

Shirts or strips are provided by the club and must be kept tucked into the shorts.

Players cannot wear jewellery of any kind with the exception of medic alert information. This ban includes watches, rings, earrings, bracelets and necklaces. See the FIFA Australian Soccer Association's national jewellery policy.

Club Officials

Club officials are provided by the clubs to help spectators with the kinds of information listed in this document and to help referees in these same types of issues.

All spectators must obey the directions from white coat officials and referees as well as club officials and EDJSA Executive members who shall identify themselves.

Spectacle Wearing Players

EDJSA players are allowed to wear spectacles if required, please check out our Policy For Spectacle Wearing Players for all the details.

 

Consumption of alcohol

The consumption of alcohol is not permitted on the sidelines of any training session, carnival or game sanctioned by EDJSA. Alcohol can only be consumed inside a fully licenced club room. Please be aware that all EDJSA Club trainings and practice game activities are sanctioned by EDJSA.
