About Magic
Magic Basketball Club Incorporated was Established in November 2010 and is affiliated with the Bacchus Marsh Basketball Association (BMBA).
Magic is a professionally administrated club that aims to provide a safe and enjoyable environment for all players and supporters to participate.
Magic was originally formed in 1995 by a Mowbray College student as a school team "Mowbray Magic". The name MAGIC was chosen due to the popularity of the USA, National Basketball Association (NBA) team Orlando Magic great Shaquille (The Shak) O'Neal. Another reason for selecting the MAGIC name was because of the Australian, South East Melbourne Magic who at the time played in the National Basketball League (NBL).
