Peet Limited and Werribee Tigers kick off 2007 VFL season with community kick
around for local kids Peet Limited, one of Australia's leading property companies, announced today a boost in its involvement with local Australian rules football, continuing as one of the major sponsors of the Werribee Tigers Football Club and hosting for the first time this year the Peet Cup.
Dedicated to building its participation with the VFL, Peet - which also sponsors the Casey Scorpions Football Club - will host for the first time this year the Peet Cup.
The inaugural Peet Cup, to be played on June 2, will include both Peet sponsored VFL teams battling it out head-to-head. To be televised on ABC, the winning team will be awarded an impressive custom-built trophy.

To celebrate Peet's sponsorship of the Werribee Football Club, the land estate developer will host a `Community Kick Around' event on Tuesday, 3 April at 4.30pm. The afternoon of free footy activity will assist local children to brush up on key footy skills with the help of some of the club's top players.
The `Community Kick Around' will be hosted atPeet's Tarneit Gardens estate from 4.30pm. The afternoon will include activities, training drills, games,giveaways, refreshments and a kicking competition for children.
