The Lancefield Junior Football Club is proud to announce that on Saturday 3rd of September at the clubs presentation day, that Shane Trewarne and Doug Kindred were inducted as life mebers of the club. Both Shane (president) and Doug (vice-president) were insrtumental in the establishment and running of the Lancefield Junior Football Club since its formation at the beginning of 2009.

Although the club did not start playing until this time, a lot of hard work and dedication was required behind the scenes prior to the clubs inaugral game. Not only did they manage to get the club off the ground running by establishing five teams, the club tasted premiership success in both the Under 14 and Under 16 age groups in its inception year.

If it was not for both of these men's hard work and dedication, the club would not exist today. As it stands now, the Lancefield Junior Football Club is the home of over 110 young boys and girls. Both men should be proud of their efforts. A big thankyou to both Shane and Doug.
