Welcome to season 2011 one which threatens to be the most competitive for many years. As defending premiers the task ahead will be no easier with clubs trying to knock us off. Bar injury all the premiership team will line up today bar Meesy, Shannon & Jesse. With the inclusion of some handy footballers we can be confident of making another assault on the finals series. We wish all the new and old players all the best for the coming season and welcome all our new and returning members and sponsors to the club which hopefully will be as exciting as the last.
Today we welcome Bundoora who are no doubt keener than ever trying to knock us off. We welcome everyone in for a drink and a chat during and after the game

Juniors are flying and at time of print there was no details so you will have to check the web or junior newsletter for details of where they are playing tomorrow as no fewer than 14 teams will take the field

Renovations are now well and truly starting to take shape and believe it or not if they haven’t already started they will be by Monday. The multipurpose room will begin in July see notice boards for plans.
Coterie Group is up and running again and at various levels so see Milesy, Polly or Mario for further details.
Next Saturday we play MacLeod at 1.10PM and the day has been focused around the Beyond Blue Campaign and as such the 2 clubs will compete for the Awareness Cup and the 19s best player will be awarded the Steve Rowley Medal. The 19s game will start around 4pm. Anyone interested in attending a lunch with Daniel Kowalski at 11.30 supporting the day should contact Leigh Moulden 0401 418 342 Tickets are $50.
