Last week travelled up to the beautiful Whittlesea Showgrounds in perfect condition under beautiful sunshine in direct contrast to last week and as our players were admiring the scenery Whittlesea jumped us and led for most of the day until a final 6 goal burst in the last 10 minutes of the game got us out of jail. The 2s were never troubled and the 19s hit the front in the last qtr only to be overtaken. The Best Player tickets went to Chalky. Apologies to Whittlesea as the game finished well after 5 and our function starting at 7 we didn’t enjoy your hospitality as long as we normally do. This week its Greensborough who will no doubt be looking to get back on the winners list. Next week its North Heidelberg back at home.
