West Press
After Polly got the ground ready overnight we started the day in near perfect conditions but both teams could only manage 1 goal in the first qtr. The rain came done and we were back in the slop and as it panned out Heidelberg were a bit more committed to get the heavy ball and drive it their way with the better results. The 2s had a big victory and after along time between drinks the 19s finally saluted the judge with a great win. They sung the song hard and were so tired they were all home in bed by 5. The Best Player Tickets went to Matty Vasilevski and for the rest of you can get the player to buy you a beer.
This week its Lower Plenty at Home who are coming of a great win and we will have to bring our A game to get back on the winners list.
Around The Traps.
Don’t take a coach home to sleep on your couch when you don’t have a couch. What happens in Eppalock stays in Eppalock but if you’re looking for someone to take you’re kids on an excursion Chris is the man to see. It’s good to see Polly guarding his siblings house but is he keeping them in or others out. Thanks to Polly and his hard work on the oval in weird hours even the police are leaving him alone.
