What a great result coming from behind again to defeat the top side. With heavy rain over the previous days Polly went on the recruit and trapped Icey on the bucket and mop and spent hours soaking the water and many wheelie bins later the ground was in reasonable condition sat morning. The 2s could only manage a draw in what has been a case of so close too many times in recent weeks. The 19s got the chocolates again and are now only a game outside the top 5. Best Player Ticket went to Kris Bardon. Presti was deeply disappointed comong 2nd after having to actually play on an opponent but did keep him goaless and Billy Micevski is getting amongst the goals again
This week its Macleod and they have always troubled us and we need to lift as they are coming of a loss so a win is a must to consolidate our position on the ladder.
Next week were of to Preston City Oval for a Sunday Match V our friends Montmorency in what should be a great afternoon of local footy.
Around The Traps.
Another banner in the juniors on Friday night I asked Jake Tou’s mum how many games she said it was his 10th that would me Sando should’ve had 31 by now but after the baseball bat comes out to give him the Tonia Hardman treatment. Talent nite proved to us all that made some players great footballers in comparison. Don’t throw a hard hat into the crowd they are actually hard Rama, I don’t know what was in the pure water of Boags last week but like those ads for ladies personals it seems there’s nothing you cant do sing, dance or tell jokes someone should tell that bloke in charge that its not acceptable. Callum did a great job covering a Pink Floyd classic. Punt, punt, punt punt you’ve got to find thirty dollars a day put a quaddie on and listen on the radio.
