What could’ve been with only minutes remaining and 13 points up the win we so desperately wanted was before us but some costly errors resulted in us coughing up the lead and with the smallest margin left the game finished in another draw. It was great to see our intensity and hard tackling back from the middle of the 1st quarter. Billy Morrison was the man in the Best Player Tickets followed closely by Pebbles. It was good to see a few guys promoted and hold their own in Barks, Pebbs, Bell & Chas. The 2s kept flowing along and whilst keeping the training track clean are putting the results on the board. The 19s had another hard fought win against a team who has improved as well as the season has gone by. This week it’s of to Presti’s former home or nearby anyway in what is still a must win against a side who will be desperate to remain in the top level. In an amazing year we have a glimmer of hope of getting a top 3 finish or risk bowing out of the finals.
Next week its back home against the Panthers
Around The Traps.
Just a reminder to blokes that their membership cards get you into away games as well. Darren is still unaware of his plight but is thinking of heading to the yellow and black as all clubs should look like that. Laurie was last seen throwing empty stubbies on his new neighbours house. How many bodies are buried in the foundations.
