Had 3 good wins last week up the road although had a scare early in the seniors and thanks to their inaccuracy we somehow found ourselves in front at ¼ time before getting away to a good win. Luke Mckenna got the chocolates and in the Best A Player tickets he was Peter just ask Daniel Coen from Independent Scaffolds 0416 130 003.
This week we take on Lalor on our home turf a match which will have a big impact on the season ahead for both clubs
Players Review went well last week with a huge crowd in attendance to see such little talent we have to offer off the field dare I say it but lucky some can get a kick. Sav was forced to enforce the queensberry rules a bit later than normal. The future Mrs Harrison wasn’t too happy about the shortage of dance partners. Did enjoy the life of the 2s skipper very enjoyable for those in the know. The eventual winner was Grease led by Jimmy Mac and Luke Vincitorio.
A Night To Remember is the next function on May 30th. This is going to be a ripper as I can’t remember what it is before it has actually happened. When we find out what it is we will let everyone know but keep this date free.
Memberships are available from Dooga or Kate today it’s important to be member of our club so we directly benefit. Start from $60 Adults Pens $30, Family $90 etc.
Around The Traps Luke Vincitorio is lucky to be with us after a having a drink out of the beer lines whilst they were full of line cleaner not once but twice. I believe it is a corrosive. Jon Hyde was sent home from work because he was making everyone sick so he came to the club and gave it all to us. Nice is keeping some late hours and instead of stumbling out of the Stolberg he was seen stumbling out of the trainers hands. John Meese is alive for those who haven’t seen him lately but you might be able to catch a glimpse of hubcap at today’s game. It was good to see a few older heads at the talent night, a few old stagers took up prime viewing areas. The dart board is attracting too many numbers on a Thursday night with Milesy taking the juniors for training. He was going to start with the administration side first, a wise move. Coach’s should stick to coaching and I think Vin should just give it away, a dislocated shoulder playing super rules. The sea of blue at half time and after match was impressive shirts and jackets are still available from Dooga for $35 & $50 respectively. Congratulations to Vin & Deidre Datoli on the arrival of Scarlett born early Monday morning.
