Went down High St with plenty of hope for victory and were certainly in the game for 3 qtrs only to be smashed in the last quarter. Best player Ticket went to “ANGRY” Anderson. The 2s had a good win and the 19s went down. This week take on the reigning premiers Heidelberg and hopefully put 4 qtrs of solid football together. Next week were on the road again to Lalor.

Around The Traps Salty had his 50th birthday last Friday and on Saturday he was still working out who was there. He still doesn’t say much. Thanks to Bomber and Blocka for keeping him occupied throughout the day. It’s a man’s world and why waste those 20 minutes Rodgo when the job can be done in 2 as Spewy confirms and be back on the pots. Poor old Plugger spent all his hard earned on taking his family to China to buy some cheap necessities. If he had spent any money in Australia he would realize everything was made in china anyway. But on arriving at the airport the plane was locked down in quarantine with Pig flu scare ever since. Everyone has been deeply concerned for his welfare and look forward to his return all cashed up and ready to splurge on his mates. Nice tried hard to make this space with some very stupid comments at half time last week. Bad Luck!

Juniors as I thought it was better to write these notes on Sunday before the junior’s Pasta night I can only assume everyone was well behaved and home tucked away in bed nice and early.
Lakeside Netballers are going along nicely with some handy new recruits. They are finding the competition very strong and look forward to posting some more victories. They are currently 4th on the ladder.
