The day started well with good wins in the 19s and reserves, the seniors put up a great fight but weren’t able to finish off in the last qtr when Heidelberg got away from us. In the best player tickets Steve was the winner and for those who cant work it out that’s Steve Gosling. This week were up against Lalor on their track and look to atoning for our failure the 1st time we met. Next week were on the road again to Greensborough

Memberships are available from Dooga or Kate today it’s important to be member of our club so we directly benefit. Start from $60 Adults Pens $30, Family $90 etc.
Around The Traps Mark sleeman can’t help himself with one of the girls at the Stolberg belting him over the head Fred Flintstone style with a plastic cruiser bottle. The Great Chalky Banbury graced us with his presence and showed he was still the master of paint. To all the villains beware as Hank “psycho” Mellerick has been posted on jury duty. If Shorty can see it how clear can it be and don’t forget he will be watching us on the internet.
Players BBQ tomorrow at the club from 3.30pm with the senior players putting on some snacks and drinks for all financial members and sponsors of the club to show their appreciation of your support. Bring your family down and enjoy the afternoon.
Coterie Group had a great day in the absence of its President Polly Sleeman. Thanks to David Glascott for hosting the event, Rhonda and Smiley for the food and Kate for setting up. The club is still looking for new members so see Milesy, Mario or Polly to find out more details.
Juniors had the weekend off so a few of the parents could recover from the pasta night. The Westons were the stars of the show with Alan comparing the night finally seeing the light.
Lakeside Netballers were a bit light on with some late scratching and up against some quality opposition. Good to see them up at the coterie lunch and let’s hope a few of the boys get up and support the girls on a Friday night.
