U10 White vs Hawkesbury Saints (Black)
WOW, what a performance from The Mountain Men. The Men were relentless, committed, capped off with a sensational team performance. Right from the first whistle The Men contested everything, defended everything and attacked with precision and the near capacity crowd at Greygums were on the edge of their seats as they watched The Mountain Men put on their best performance of the year. Mungo, Sensei, Superboot and The Bulldog were absolutely on fire, making leads, taking marks and kicking with pinpoint precision aided by impenetrable defence from The Rock Atkins, Big Reg and The Oz Man. Luca Goudis, after a couple of weeks off, demonstrated beautiful skills when handling, Lior Hadari as usual showed his is a cut above, Angus Goodwin, Crackers Keenan and Ethan Powell delivered when they needed and never gave up in their best performances of the year. One of those games where you can’t remember a thing afterwards as there was too many highlights to recall and before you knew it, it was over. Couldn’t be more proud of a great bunch of lads.
U/10 Blues vs Hawkesbury Saints (Red)
A tight contest for the Blues against a solid opposition. Goals were hard to come by as the game was full of ballups as both teams struggled to get keep control of the ball. Thanks to the White's U/10 for Ethan and Owen Powell for filling in for missing players. The boys all tried hard, with Cameron and Angus toiling away in the centre. Daniel and Jordan kept the pressure on in forward line. Kienan,Tyler and man of the match Rhys worked hard in the backline, while Mali and Zavier kicked some nice goals. The Blues will be back to full strength next week with some well rested players ready to go.
