As you would be aware, the Victorian lockdown has been extended for another 7 days which means no training or matches during this time. The roadmap following that is unknown at this stage, but we assume whenever restrictions are eased that it will be phased with small group training, limits on crowds etc.
Therefore, the sponsors day scheduled for Saturday July 31 has been postponed, as has the $5k draw scheduled for that night. Further information will be provided when there is clarity around how the remainder of the 2021 season looks.
At this stage, all we know is the first game back will be against Bacchus Marsh which will complete the League’s aim of each club playing each other once during the 2021 season.
The BFLW competition will re-start with fixtured matches at the date any return to play is announced, with matches scheduled during lockdown being deleted from the fixture.
In the meantime, please take care and stay safe. We look forward to all catching up soon. Any additional updates to the above will be provided on social media and our website.
