JUNIOR award winners for the 2011 Central Murray Football Netball League season were announced on Sunday in the lead-up to this weekend's grand final round.
The under 15 football best and fairest award was shared by Tooleybuc Manangatang’s Darcy Spinks and Tyntynder's Darcy Bibby who each polled 29 votes.
Balranald's Raven Joliffe was runner-up with 26 votes.
Spinks has had a big impact in 2011, representing New South Wales at the national school-boys carnival last month.
Bibby enjoyed a standout season as a ruck rover for the Dogs, helping them reach the preliminary final.
Both players will have to make the transition to colts football next season, and Bibby said he was looking forward to the challenge.
"I'll be playing against bigger kids who are much older than me and there will be faster movement of the ball," he said.
As for Spinks, he will be turning his attention to Saturday's grand final against Kerang.
"I'm very excited but it's going to be very tough and we're going to have to work hard," he said.
The Saints' Sam Grant took out the under 15's goal kicking, booting an impressive 94 goals -- 39 clear of Kerang's Logan Keighran.
A 16-goal haul against Nyah Nyah West in round 13 was a highlight for Grant, who kicked less than 30 goals last season.
"It's more about the team performance," Grant said.
"There's a lot of good players in the side so I've been finishing off their good work."
