TOOLEYBUC Manangatang proved far too strong for Nyah Nyah West United in Central Murray Football Netball League A grade action on Saturday.
After a relatively tight opening, the Saints jumped out of the blocks in the second quarter, shooting 17 goals to eight, to take a 15 goal lead into the main break.
Similar dominance in the third term saw the Saints expand their lead to 26, with Tooleybuc Manangatang controlling the last quarter to win by 42 points.
Mel Wait did most of the damage for the Saints, with 44 goals, while Julie Wardle scored 28.
Mellissa Snyder managed 18 for the Dees, while Georgi Kelly scored 12.
Wait is now fourth on the league's goal-throwing ladder, with 218 season conversions, while Wardle is ninth with 165.
Nyah Nyah West United slips back to eighth position following the loss, with a finals appearance now increasingly unlikely.
The Saints stay in third place but are poised to challenge the dominance of first and second-placed Swan Hill and Tyntynder.
