Navarre had two teams playing over the weekend at the semi-final stage. The Reserves made some changes to the team and were able to bounce back from last week’s defeat. They ended Natte Bealiba’s season by a comfortable 70 point margin. Ben Crichton played further up the ground this week, and gathered a number of possessions and contested marks. He came under plenty of attention with the Natte boys tried to curb his influence.
Nigel Greenaway, Tom Kaye and Luke Bibby are experienced campaigners and lead their younger team mates from the front. Lenny Polkinghorne was a solid performer in the ruck and he also contributed with his defensive marking around the ground.
Jeremy Harrington, Charlie Driscoll, Paul Carson and Luke Jordan were influential players throughout the game and provided plenty of drive. The Reserves move on to the Preliminary Final stage.

The Under 15s bowed out of the 2014 season when they went down to Avoca. The Bulldogs were a much bigger team all over the ground and the young Grasshoppers were on the back foot from the very beginning.
Paul Summers, Wil Clough, Will Lovison and Dale Reid worked hard to get their hands on the footy. Matthew Arbuckle, James Anderson and Declan Pyke tried hard in defence in a game where they were under constant pressure. Mitch Ranton and Madix Perry were desperate throughout the game.
Despite having their season ended, the Navarre boys had a successful season, finishing much higher than expected, with a majority of their players still eligible for the team next year.
