The Navarre senior team have won their way into the 2015 MCDFL grand final and will be playing for their third premiership in a row.
Navarre opened with the first three goals of the quarter to get a jump on Lexton, but the Tigers were able to kick one of their own and gradually settled into their game plan. Navarre had the advantage at quarter time. The second quarter really signaled Lexton's undoing. They dominated the play for long passages of time, but could only manage minor scores and three kicks out on the full. Navarre, on the other hand, made the most of their time with the footy and increased their lead.
Navarre dominated the third, piling on eight goals to two points and effectively shut Lexton out of the game. Ash Driscoll was unstoppable bagging seven goals for the day, ensuring the Grasshoppers had the score on the board. The backline, the strength of the team all season, were again miserly. Jayden Fowkes, Brent Flood, Bill Parry and Daniel Parkin were rock solid, particularly when Lexton were pushing in the second term. Louis Hannett, Sam Kaye, Bryce Tickner and Josh Fowkes were strong around the centre of the ground, and Fowkes again proved his worth when he rested up forward, kicking three goals.
The Grasshoppers were outscored in the last, but the margin had been too big to bridge for the Tigers. Navarre will now take on Carisbrook for the 2015 title.

The Reserves were in with a real show in their game and were just one point down at the last change. It was the more experienced heads in Carisbrook's team, which was perhaps the difference in the end. The Navarre boys only managed a goal in the last quarter, whilst their opposition added two goals four. This was enough to take out the game and end the Grasshoppers' season.
