One of Port MacDonnell’s favourite son’s, this week plays his 200th senior game. Ben came to the club as a 16 year old and has remained loyal to the club, except for a working stint in Melbourne, for a long and distinguished career.
Ben has filled many roles in his time, a multiple Best and Fairest winner, 1998 Premiership player, Club Captain, Senior Coach, there is very little he has not achieved.
A versatile player who has played just about every position on the ground, Ben is working on his fitness to hopefully return to the A Grade side after his late start to this year. At this stage of his career, there would be nothing better than to see Ben contributing in A Grade Finals.
Everybody at the Port MacDonnell Football Club congratulates and wishes Ben well in his 200th Senior Game against Kalangadoo.
