By entering 5 teams, two of which won their respective Grand Finals at the second annual Greater Geelong Junior Club Challenge basketball tournament 3rd - 4th July 2010 our club was awarded the title of 'Champion Club' of the tournament.

A great effort by such a young club which is still growing and establishing itself among other junior basketball clubs on the Geelong and Victorian basketball scene.

A big thank you to all of our teams - 14 girls - 14 boys (Knights & Monarchs) - 16 girls & 16 boys, you all performed brilliantly over the weekend and also showed what can be achieved with the right attitude, a concentrated effort, true grit and desire.

Of course each team had its own champion players who performed exceptionally well during the whole tournament, especially in the two grand final games where two of our boys won the grand final MVP awards for their respective divisions.

Well done to Jacob Pupavac winning the under 14 boys grand final MVP amassing 24 points to lead his team to a solid victory against Hoppers Crossing while Brad Mayes performed equally as well winning the MVP award in the under 16 boys grand final by putting up 8 points and playing a strong game at point guard in a tough encounter against Christian College.

Finally to all the mums, dads, managers and coaches who spent the weekend going from game to game and stadium to stadium, a big thank you and well done to all.
