BAYSIDE Bombers Masters team is back in pre-season training for the 2007 Aussie Rules season.
Bombers had a successful 2006 season, finishing with a 7-6 win loss record.
Club award winners for last season included: Bill Maslin, best and fairest player with Michael Tait one vote behind in second place; Dean Wilson leading goal kicker; Bill Maslin, the coach's trophy; and Pete Hillary best clubman.
Special service awards went to Tony Eames, Doug Knight, Jason March and Mick Kath.
This season will see the Bombers include a masters side in the MAFQ competition which caters for those players over the age of 40 as well as the supers side which caters for those over 33.
The masters side will be a combination of players from the Bay as well as those from the Jindalee Jaguars and the team will play in the Bombers' strip.
Pre-season training for the masters and supers sides will continue every Sunday at GJ Walter Park, behind the Grand View Hotel, Cleveland at 9.30am.
Training will commence at Alexandra Hills Sporting Club in late February.
