As the Cougars have an offical bye this Sunday 21 Oct we thought it an ideal opportunity to have our shirts presentations and a few practise games.

The U13B and U13G will have training sessions to get them accustomed to the VCL but all other teams have games as per the schedule below.

The new kit is looking very, very smart indeed.

Also on the day our sponsor Emilio from Kardaris Chiropratic Services will be out and about giving some very special offers to all the Cougars, players, parents and staff.

Hope to see you all out there on Sunday.

The procedure on Sunday for shirt presentation.

Each player will get their shirt from their team manager who needs to check that players/parents have paid the registration fee (provision is made for parents to pay on the day by cheque and/or cash only) and the number that the player is wearing for the season. (Keepers have special requirements below.)

(Sorry if we don’t have the best size for you in shirt, jacket and t-shirt, as you can imagine we are guessing sizes weeks in advance.)

The numbers on the shirts are NOT pre-allocated to players. Although they start at 1 – 20 for the oldest groups; the younger the group the higher the number.

Training kids are treated in the same way as the players. They are entitled to the full kit just like the players. Although practically speaking we may give size preference to players rather than trainers.

For example if a player and  a trainer both need a S shirt but there is only 1 left the player should get it as the trainer won’t need it as much.

Once the shirt has been handed out the player will go to the “production line” to get their shorts, 2 x socks, jacket, cap, t-shirt, bag etc.

In the case of a keeper they need to pick out the keeper shirt that fits best, bring it back to their TM who will pin their individual number on to the shirt so that we can get it printed on during the week.

We will get it back to your TM at training during the week. BTW the keeper also gets keeper shorts.

Please note that Cougars playing shirts are NOT to be worn to training. We expect you to take pride in your new Cougars shirt and keep it as clean and neat as possible for match days.

We also expect players, TMs and coaches to wear their Cougars pre-game wear to games and after games; unless the weather is so bad that an extra over coat or other clothing is needed for practical reasons.

Look forward to seeing you on Sunday!

Breaking news!

U13G will be playing a friendly against Central at DISC on Sunday, kick off at 10am.

Check with you team manager Nancy.
