Registration is now open for the Winter 2020 season for Corpus with registrations closing on 5 April 2020. All of our committee are volunteers and are working very hard behind the scenes to make sure we have a smooth transition into the new season and we continue to offer you the best fee structure, culture, opportunities and support in the Wyndham Basketball Association. With the start of the Winter season, it will be a requirement that all players complete their online registration prior to taking the court in the first games. Please be aware that this must be done by the 5^th April.

Basketball Victoria Individual Membership

Individual player registration for the Winter 2020 Season has also changed, with Basketball Victoria moving to a new software platform (PlayHQ)  and the introduction of an individual based registration model. Each basketball player is now required to pay an annual registration fee directly to Basketball Victoria which is $25 for players 17 or younger and $39 for players over the age of 18 prior to taking the court. This fee will cover player insurance, affiliation with Basketball Victoria and Australia and the opportunity to participate in all BV sanctioned leagues, events and competitions. This fee does not go to Corpus so is completely independent and is valid for a full 12 month period once paid.

Players cannot take the court without being an individual member of Basketball Victoria, so everyone must be registered and paid by 5 April 2020 in order to be eligible to take the court for Round 1 of the Winter season.

Outstanding Fees – Summer 2020 Season

There are also a number of families with outstanding fees and remain unfinancial. If you have any outstanding fee’s prior to the commencement of Round 1 of the Winter Season you will also be ineligible to be placed into a Corpus team, take the court and/or transfer to another club.  Please contact the club so that we can assist you with any outstanding payments.

 

Corpus Fee’s Winter 2020

Corpus, with the help of our sponsors/supporters have been able to minimise fee increases and remain committed to offering family discounts and also a payment plan option. Fee’s for Winter Season are; $215 first sibling, $195 second sibling, $175 third sibling and free for forth and subsequent siblings. If you are entering into a payment plan, there is a $50 commitment fee per player which is payable upon registration.

If you have multiple siblings or require a payment plan, please respond to this email and we will send you a voucher code to be used at checkout to activate your fee discount/payment plan.

Registration Day

Corpus will hold a Registration Day at Eagle Stadium on Saturday 14 March to assist families registering online, organising any uniform requirements and taking payments. This is an opportunity to get help with the new system, so we encourage as many families as possible to take advantage of this event.

Not Returning Next Season?

If you are not planning on returning to the court for the Winter season for any reason, please let us know so we can remove you from our team lists. Your timely contact enables us to give the teams and other players the opportunity to have a full team for the start of the season. Late notice can make it very difficult for the other team members and we aim to have a positive start for all.
