The MFC juggernaut keeps rolling!
In a fitting tribute to the memory of Sam whose life was commemorated in an emotional presentation prior to kick off MFC turned in another very solid display coming out victors by 3 goals to 1 against the much fancied Mudgeeraba side. Goals by Simon Hurcombe, Luke Morley and Troy Ruthven were enough to see off a determined and capable Mudgee side. MFC were the better side throughout but the win was hard earned and not clear until the final 10 minutes. Once again MFC's defence was superb with Shaun Core at left back taking out the man of the match award. MFC Ressies had a tough shift and were on the receiving end of a 4-2 defeat. 5 rounds now in and MFC are still sitting pretty at the top of the Premier League table. Who would have thought!! Congratulations to the coaching staff of Dave Lonie, Dean "Rocky" Milosevic and Gabe Finardi for such a great start to the season. Long may it continue.
