MFC Reserve Grade show us what they're made of...

In a game of two halves MFC bounced back from a disappointing 1st half to completely dominate their opponents in the second clawing back a 2 goal deficit to finish up 4-4. Down 4-2 at HT, after some lacklustre play and a some freakish long range goals from Southport, the boys had some honest words amongst themselves and coach, Gabe Finardi, and comitted to play with more quality and pride in the second half.

The form reversal was like night and day with MFC having at least 80% of possession and Southport rarely threatening. In the end it was disappointing not to come back and win the game such was the outstanding second half performance. It is hoped that this team has really turned a corner after a string of three tough results before this game, and will now push on and rediscover more permanently, their outstanding early season form. Goal scorers were Mory Kone, Adam Rogers with 2 and Matthew De Groot bagging the equaliser with a minute to go. Well done lads!
