MFC - Gold Coast Premier League Champions 2013
In a historic day for the club MFC were crowned Premiers of the Gold Coast Premier League for the first time. Only needing one point to claim the league with 3 games to spare, MFC did the job in an entertaining nil nil draw with Mudgeeraba. In an end to end game with several unconverted chances to both sides, Murwillumbah did enough and also kept their unbeaten record intact. Reserve Grade produced another stunning display and a further step towards a semi final spot with an 8-0 trouncing. Now that the league championship is done and dusted MFC can move onto the business of finals. Semi finals will be over 2 legs beginning at home on the 24th August and away on the 31st August. As Premiers MFC will be hosting the Grand Final on September 7th. Let's hope our boys do the business and win their Semi!!
