NEXT MEETING
The next general committee meeting is scheduled for 6.30pm on Monday, 20th April, 2009 at the Dapto Leagues Club. Ask at reception for directions to the room we are designated upstairs.
We ask that more parents get involved in the Club and the decisions that are being made. We encourage everyone to attend our general committee meetings, which are held approximately once a month.

TRAINING
For your child's safety, we have a duty of care to ask that parents and caregivers remain at training, not drop them off and return later on to pick them up.
If something should happen to your child, or if something unexpected should happen, such as a weather change, you need to be there for your child, as our coaches are not a child care provider, and are not able to make decisions on behalf of you, as a parent or caregiver.
GALA DAY
On Saturday, 4th April, 2009, our Auskick children will be attending the gala day at the Figtree Oval. Auskick players need to be at the Figtree Oval by 9am on the day.
Players, other than auskick, are welcome to attend the gala day, and will be placed into a team for the day. Please contact Steve Pigram on 0415 505 032 for more information.
DAPTO EAGLES FIRST GIRL TEAM!
In 2009, the Dapto Eagles are proud to have, for the very first time, an all girls youth team! We are asking that everyone support the girls at their very first game, which is to be held on Friday, 1st May, 2009, time to be advised.
FUNDRAISING
This year, we will be selling Freddo Frogs as part of our fundraising. All proceeds of fundraising will go towards new equipment for the club. Boxes of Freddos will be coming home shortly.
MOUTHGUARDS
Mouthguards are not compulsory, however, we strongly recommend that players, other than Auskickers, use a mouthguard at both training and game day. Please note that no body skins or gloves are to be worn. Any player wearing body skins or gloves will not be permitted to play.
HELPERS NEEDED!
We desperately need help to run the Club and the teams. Parents and caregivers can help out in the following ways:
o Washing the jumpers
o Assisting the coach as required- ask the coach what he needs doing (feel more than welcome to ask your coach what he needs, as he won't say no!)
o On game day, we require goal umpires or runners. It is a simple, yet important job, and your child will get a real buzz out of seeing you there, helping out
o On training days, assisting the coaches with drills.
o CANTEEN - we are looking for helpers to be put on the roster for home games. You don't have to help out for long, even half an hour is helpful.
AFL SCHOOL HOLIDAY PROGRAM
The AFL are running a holiday program on April 15 & 16 at Figtree Oval from 9am-2pm both days. The program is all about fun but will include elements of skill development and game based activities to both entertain and challenge the children.
