Round 6, Wet Weather football round. 

It would appear this week was the official start of wet weather football judging by the number of very, very muddy Rye Junior Football Club players. It was certainly a different game style for most of you this week as you slipped, slid and adjusted to the wet ball. I say most of you enjoyed it judging by the big grins on your faces. Be nice to your Mums this week as well as they wash your very muddy football gear!!! Don’t forget to always take your dirty gear out of your bag after the game and place your footy boots in a warm room to dry out, not in front of a heater. 

Lot’s more news this week and a big reminder that we have our second Family milestone night Sunday May 26^th. This is a special night where we honour the players who have played 50 games or more . Check out all the details in the RJFC news section. 

The club is participating in a “Jumper for Juniors ,” program where if we achieve 30 registrations from our club we obtain a free signed Carlton football club jumper which we can raffle off and raise funds for our club. Check out these details in our RJFC News section .

Unfortunately we had to take off all the games shown on Rye Junior Dees TV whilst we sort out some issues. Keep checking this section as we will get them back on once we resolve them.

Interleague Representatives.

All Rye Junior Football Club players that have been invited to try out for the Interleague squad, a reminder that training is at the Mornington Football Oval, Main Street Mornington this coming Friday at 5pm. This will happen every friday night from now on till further notice

Training.  

U10's Red – Training Thursdays 4.00 – 5.00pm. Please get to training at 3:45pm for a warm up of 200 touches before actual training starts.

U11’s- Training Thursdays 4 – 5pm. 

U12’s - Training Tuesday 4.30 – 5.30pm. 

U13’s - Training Wednesdays & Fridays 4 – 5.30pm. 

U14’s - Wednesday and Friday from 4 – 5.30pm.

U15’s - Training Tuesdays & Thursdays 4.30 – 6pm

Training is compulsory for all players and from time to time you will have other committments . Please do the right thing and call you coach or Team manager if you cannot attend training.
