Mt Gravatt Starts Pre Season and Gets involved with the Community
Mt Gravatt Senior Coach Andrew Mellor has kicked started the Vultures 2012 campaign with the first pre seaon training session on the 15th of November. This is Mellors first seaon in charge after taking over from long term Coach David Lake, and the Club is fully in support of the new appointment.
Of the top three teams from teh opening season of the NEAFL, all three will apoint new head coaches for the 2012 season and Andrew is looking to make his mark immediately with a hard working pre seaon. Getting ready for Vultures first Foxtel cup next year will be hard work, but Andrew Mellor is confident that the club can continue to perform at the highest level despite the high work load.
In addition to a busy pre season shedule prior to Christmas, Mt Gravatt are running weekly BBQ's outside Rebel Sport Garden City each Saturday until the new year. The funds from these BBQ's will go towards the Vultures first Corporate Race day in February.
The wheels are in motion for a promising 2012, so watch this space for more promising news.
